How would you explain your research in 3 sentences to someone who is not in science?
Parkinson’s disease is a degenerative disease of the brain that often impairs motor skills, speech, and other functions. In our lab I studied the molecular mechanisms to understand pathogenesis of Parkinsonism.

I am always motivated to upgrade myself with new technologies. I have passion for singing, astrology, travelling and exploring world. If I were not doing research, I might be a singer or artist. About your work
I studied PARK2 mutations in Parkinson’s disease patients from North West India. We investigated that how the demographic and socio economic spectrum of these patients affected the progression of disease. Currently, I am post doctorate fellow at University of Maryland School of Medicine, Baltimore, USA
