How would you explain your research in 3 sentences to someone who is not in science?
Neurotoxicology is the science that deals with the effects of poisons on the nervous system. We used to deal with neurotoxicity studies where we wanted to examine the toxic properties of frequently used drugs and chemicals by looking their impact on mice hippocampus cells. Our aim was to establish safety criteria for usage of drugs having effect on brain.

I am a simple girl who believes in humanity and existence of God. I always try to learn something new from everyone around me. I love to listen to good music and enjoy dancing. If I were not doing research, I would definitely be a choreographer.
About your work
When I worked in the Neuroscience Research Lab, I worked on the establishment of primary hippocampus culture from mice brain and apply these for neurotoxicological studies. I had always wanted to culture human fetal hippocampus cells in our lab but had to quit due to relocation plans of my family.
